Photo terms

Last updated October 28, 2026

These terms apply when you share a photo through the form on vestalpeak.com.

You keep your photo

You keep the copyright and every other right in your photo. Sharing it does not transfer ownership to us.

What you allow us to do

You give vestalpeak.com permission to show your photo, and your caption, on vestalpeak.com, free of charge, so other visitors can see it. We may resize it and remove its embedded data, but we won't otherwise change it. If you said we could, your first and last name appear with it.

What we won't do

We won't sell your photo, license it to anyone, use it in advertising or on products, or use it to make money in any other way. We only show it on this site.

What you confirm

You took the photo or have the right to share it, and everyone recognizable in it is fine with it being shown. It shows a place on or near Vestal Peak and contains nothing unsuitable for a general audience.

Our choices

We review every photo and may decline any of them for any reason, including ones that don't show the area around Vestal Peak. We may remove a photo at any time.

Taking a photo down

You can withdraw your photo whenever you like. Reply to any email from us, or write to sdenney@brincore.com, and we will remove it from the site and delete our copy.

Safety

The mountains are dangerous. Nothing on this site is advice on whether or how to climb, and a photo here is not a recommendation to repeat what it shows.
